After welcoming mezzo-soprano Raehann Bryce-Davis in January and tenor Russell Thomas for a Valentine’s Day recital, Vocal Arts DC concludes its strong spring season with a pair of world premiere performances. Mezzo-soprano Daniela Mack and pianist Keun-A Lee will give the world premiere of a new song cycle by Rene Orth as well as pieces by Rossini, Ginastera, Piazzolla, Pauline Viardot and Carlos Guastavino (April 18). And soprano Erin Morley will be joined by pianist Gerald Martin Moore for the world premiere of Ricky Ian Gordon’s “Huit Chansons De Fleurs” as well as works by Saint-Saëns, Rimsky-Korsakov, Rachmaninoff, Berg, Zemlinsky and Sir Arthur Sullivan (May 13). www.vocalartsdc.org
